It's no secret that 2012 has been a completely crap year in Catchland. I couldn't wait to see the end of it.
Will 2013 be better?
Fingers and toes folks, fingers and toes.
Meanwhile, yesterday, we went to the museum and petted some cockroaches for fun. Native Australian cockroaches apparently.
The kids were fascinated. I ... was less so.
I'm all for animal preservation, but any of these at my place better stay outside in the leaf pile.
Wishing you happiness and health in 2013.
And hoping your year doesn't bring any pesky, dark surprises.
Yours, with crawling skin still,
Mrs Catch

Happy New Year - I am looking forward to the fresh start that this year represents for me!!
ReplyDeleteWe have done a great deal to ensure that the imported cockroach variety doesn't get too much of a foothold here!
Egad! If you saw one of these you'd be unable to sleep. They are HUGE!!

ReplyDeleteThanks Kakka. Fingers and toes crossed!
DeleteHealth and happiness (they travel hand in hand) to you and yours for 2013. The native cockroaches are big buggers aren't they?
ReplyDeleteThey are so big that if I saw one, I wouldn't know what to do. #Toobigtosquash Fortunately, the naturalist at the museum tells me they are not the domesticated sort. Phew!
